Reduces the relaxation and deformation seen with conventional wires after multiple passes through tortuous anatomy. Bench testing shows the tip holds its shape after simulated multiple vessel passes.
Enhanced torque transmission.
The polymer fill carries torque from the proximal core through the matrix to the tip. A cylindrical, tapered tip avoids restricted two-dimensional movement.
Less tip stiffness.*
The straight version has 46% less tip stiffness than conventional wires such as Synchro 14, for navigation in complex procedures.
A supportive mid-shaft.
Rail for 0.013 in tip microcatheter delivery at conventional wire levels, demonstrated in the distal 15 cm.
