We are bicoastal, with corporate headquarters in New York City and a research and development team in the San Francisco Bay Area. In partnership with Kaneka Corporation in Japan, we design, develop and manufacture medical devices to treat neurovascular conditions.

Products are distributed in the U.S. by Kaneka Medical America LLC.

More than 40,000 clinical cases completed in Japan. Now the full system is in U.S. labs.

  1. 2002

    Kaneka Corporation commercializes the ED Coil, the first neurovascular embolization coil developed in Japan.

  2. 2021

    Twenty years on, the footprint reaches more than 20 countries, including the United States. Kaneka Neurovascular USA opens in New York City, with R&D in the San Francisco Bay Area.

  3. Jan 2026

    WaveSelect 1014 launches in the U.S., built on more than 40,000 clinical cases in Japan.

  4. Now

    SurfRider 13 reaches its first U.S. labs, and the complete system comes together with Toro 88.
